Though the origins are disputed, cocktails are a staple in society. Whether lamenting or rejoicing, it’s always a good time for a perfectly crafted alcoholic beverage. Join beverage director Mani Gonzalez as she guides guests through a brief history of the cocktail, demonstrates some classics and introduces some new school libations. Guests even have the opportunity to craft a cocktail of their own. This class features cocktails made from Japan’s rice wine, sake. The evening includes samples of five-six cocktails, cheese and charcuterie.
