Claire Molla, Erik Thurmond, and Melissa Word make up the dance and social performance collective JACK. Their March show, hosted by Dashboard, took place in the unsuspecting confines of Colony Square. The trio quietly took to the floor among throngs of partygoers, zooming in complicated patterns, their movements channeling heavy melodrama. The selectively lit room brought attention to the dancers’ gyrations and synergy.
