Awful Records aka Atlanta’s musical Breakfast Club, is bringing their brand of lo-fi turn up to Little Five Points. For their 2nd Annual Awful Sweaters Concert the collective, comprised of 15 local artists, producers, engineers, and filmmakers, will take over Aisle 5. Last year’s show went down at 529 over in East Atlanta, and in the time since the Awful crew has amassed a catalogue of over 250 songs and 30-plus music videos.

Hailed as one of the best records labels of 2014 by FACT magazine, Awful has had a busy year and they’re celebrating the last 365 days with this holiday concert, or as Richposlim tells us, “a punk rock music indie opera not for the faint of heart. The culmination of the year’s worth of work and gift to our hometown.” In the meantime, peep the visuals for Lui Diamonds’ “M.I.A.” feat. KeithCharles Spacebar and Father, and Archibald Slim’s “Catharsis” feat. Stalin Majesty.

2nd Annual Awful Sweaters Concert. With Father, Richposlim, Slug Christ, Ethereal, Micah Freeman, and more. $10-$12. Tues., Dec. 23, 8 p.m. Aisle 5, 1123 Euclid Ave. N.E. www.aisle5atl.com.
