Adron and Blair Crimmins get earthy with Monty Python’s ‘Galaxy Song’

Just remember that you’re standing on a planet that’s evovling and revovling at 900 miles an hour.”“

It’s Earth Day (April 22), and to celebrate humanity’s place in the universe, Adron and Blair Crimmins have joined forces for a jaunty live performance (no overdubbing) of “Galaxy Song” from Monty Python’s the Meaning Of Life.

Davi Masi is the prop gal, Taylor Kennedy plays clarinet, Justin Roberts is on bass, and Colin Agnew is on the drums here - Tim Redman shot and directed the project on Red Clay Theatre’s stage in Duluth.

From Adron:

“I had the bright idea to cover this song together because I’ve recently become quite familiar with Blair’s sound (due to our sharing a drummer as of the last year or so). I thought this song would be a perfect fit for the two of us, and a hilarious thing to do for Earth Day. ... I hope to elicit some smiles and chuckles and shares and likes and all that good stuff. Assuming people still know about Monty Python, which they ought to or else their parents have some serious explaining to do.”
