Go dancing tonight at Sound Table, and at the kickoff of Greenhouse in Piedmont Park on Saturday

Distinctively talented DJ and producer Kai Alce hosts his residency at Sound Table tonight, which will be debuting its new back patio and more A/C. Whew! Karl Injex will be spinning for the early part of the evening, then Kai jumps behind the tables around 11 p.m. Get there early, however, if you want $1 draft Brooklyn Lager and Bell’s 2 Hearted, because it’s only while supplies last. $5. 483 Edgewood Ave.

SATURDAY
It’s official: ATL Greenhouse is a bona fide festival! For a few years running, this event at Piedmont Park welcomes everyone to dance among the greenery of Atlanta’s favorite park. DJ Yusef is the main man, with support from DJs Stan Zeff, BE, Cullen, Theo, and Kevin Latham. Special guests Glenn Thornton of Slaag Records, and Dawn Tallman, a go-to vocalist for some of the better gospel house tracks, will be on hand for this year’s first event. A link to one of her tracks is below the jump. Coolers, grills and swimming are encouraged! Free. Noon-8 p.m., with live performances around 6.

DJ Kemit is back from a gig in Charlotte earlier this week, and co-headlines Spread Love with DJ Majestik of WRFG-FM (89.3) and MJQ. Expect a danceable mix of ’80s boogie and soul and house classics. And if you’re not in the mood to bust a move, just chill, grab a cocktail, and make conversation with cool people like yourself. $10-$15. 10 p.m. 595 North.

Why the flier is from an album slugged “Tuna Album,” I’ll probably never know, but it’s a slick flier nonetheless, which is usually the case with Sunday School. DJ Salah Ananse hosts the activities, with guest DJs Ramon Rawsoul from House in the Park, and Yusef. Free. 8 p.m. The Reserve at Cafe Circa, 464 Edgewood Ave.
