Decatur emcee Cyhi da Prince enjoyed a bit of local radio play last year with the homegrown anthem “Sweet Georgia”, jumped on the remix to Yelawolf’s “I Wish”, and kept it 100 on the Greg Street-sponsored “What da Dec been Missin” mixtape. Apparently the hard work paid off, as Cyhi popped up on the latest single leaked as part of Ye’s GOOD Friday series. “So Appalled” is mostly a strange lament to being rich over a gloomy beat (sidenote: Jay-Z’s verse apparently touched the untouchable. Please Hammer, don’t hurt ‘em.), however Prince Cyhi takes time to compare himself to passed Atlanta resident Ralph David Abernathy, offer an eleventh commandment, make a Noah’s ark reference, and claim a spot on God’s ipod.
