Who are you?

Tom Stevens

Describe yourself in three words.

Hoosier Renaissance Man.

Who - dead or alive - would most you like to meet?

Harpo Marx.

Who would you most like to slap in the face?

Zorak from Space Ghost.

What song do you wish you had written?

“The Boxer” by Paul Simon.

Elvis Costello or Elvis Presley?

Both.  On stage.  With James Burton on guitar.  Dueting on Sun-era tunes.

LP, CD or MP3?

I love the sound of LPs best, but CDs are programmable, and I can email MP3s to people I know for instant reaction.  But it’s the message, not the messenger, so great content will sound great in any format.

If you could start one trend, what would it be?

The resurgence of great, unfiltered and life-changing American music, art and culture.

If you could end one trend, what would it be?

Hateful talk radio and other forms of societal polarization-for-profit.

With whom would you most like to play a game of spin the bottle?

Zooey Deschanel comes to mind...
