Historic Brattonsville, S.C., recreates The Battle of Huck’s Defeat on its original site, 221 years after the fact with 200 re-enactors participating. In addition to the reenactment, the weekend event features activities that evoke the America of the Revolutionary era, including period music, an 18th century merchants row, cooking demonstrations and the British Oath of Allegiance.
