Want to try some of the finest cuisine Atlanta has to offer, but don’t have the time, funds or fuel to get around to all the hot spots? Enter TASTE OF ATLANTA, a festival of culinary proportions that will take over Atlantic Station Sat.-Sun., OCT. 11-12, with samplings from more than 70 of Atlanta’s favorite restaurants, including the Feed Store, Dogwood and No Mas! Cantina. Check out cooking demonstrations from top local and national chefs, enjoy live entertainment from Trisha Yearwood and, most importantly, indulge in the goods as you stroll through the streets celebrating the fest’s seventh anniversary. Local favorite Richard Blais from Bravo’s “Top Chef” will be on hand, as well as Food TV’s George Duran and TV One’s G. Garvin. This year, an entire street, dubbed “Country Road,” is devoted to showcasing sustainable restaurants, and all the leftovers will be donated to the Atlanta Food Bank. $25-$95. Sat.-Sun., 11 a.m.-6 p.m. 171 17th St. 404-875-4434. www.tasteofatlanta.net.
