Festival of Trees 2007
Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta brings a pseudo-forest of cheer to the city each year with its FESTIVAL OF TREES. This year’s event includes more than 60 bedazzled trees and wreaths, an international village and an interactive model train. The Sat., DEC. 1, parade, which begins at Peachtree Street near Baker Street and continues through downtown, kicks off the three-week event. Proceeds benefit the hospital. Parade: Free-$10. 10:30 a.m.-noon. Festival: Through Dec. 19. Free-$15. Mon.-Sat., 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; Sun., noon-5:30 p.m. Atlanta History Center, 130 W. Paces Ferry Road. 404-785-8819. www.choa.org/festival.
