Phillip DePoy is the author of 10 published novels and two published plays. St. Martin’s Press will publish his historical thriller The King James Conspiracy in May. His novel Too Easy was nominated for a Shamus Award, while his theatrical adaptation of his novel Easy won the Edgar Award for Best Mystery Play. A former artistic director for Atlanta’s Theatrical Outfit, he has directed, composed music, or written plays for many theaters throughout the Southeast, including the recent hits Turned Funny and Christmas at Sweet Apple at Theatre in the Square. He heads Clayton State University’s theater program.
