WonderRoot and Alternate ROOTS announced today a new partnership with the Ethics and the Arts Initiative at the Emory University Center for Ethics and New York-based arts nonprofit Creative Captial to produce the FREE weekend workshop “Internet for Artists” this fall. From the press release:

Scheduled for October 21-23, 2011 at the Emory University Center for Ethics this workshop will be facilitated by artists Dread Scott, Blithe Riley, Steve Lambert and Brad Lichtenstein (all from NYC and Detroit). The workshop is by artists and for artists and has been designed to create strategies for the individual artist’s career, bringing success as he or she defines it.

WonderRoot, Alternate ROOTS and the Emory Center for Ethics are pleased to offer this professional development program for Atlanta artists at a time when web-based media is evolving rapidly.

Applications are open and will be accepted through Sept. 15. 24 participants will be chosen for the seminar to be held at Emory.
