In the wake of the Michael Brown case, the Charlie Hebdo attacks, and ongoing international politics, it’s hard to deny the omnipresence of conflict in daily lives. Starting on Fri., Feb. 13, Dashboard Co-op is opening Dialogue: Conflict/Resolution, an exhibition in which six artists examine the nature of conflict and the search for resolution. Over the course of the exhibition (which will end on March 20), visitors will have the opportunity to experience live performances, film screenings, and artist talks in addition to the installations. Though artists Michi Meko, Dr. Doris Derby, Matthew Maher, and Ruth Dusseault will be giving artist talks further into the exhibition period, Johnny Drago’s live performance of “Another Day” will be held Fri., Feb. 13, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Ruth Stanford’s roaming public art piece, “Deliberation,” will also be visible on Friday at Dashboard and The Varsity.
