In January 2004, the Hawks lost by 46 points to the Los Angeles Lakers (113-67). It wasn’t that bad Tuesday night, but it wasn’t much better. The Hawks were out-rebounded, out-scored and out-classed. In an arena that felt more filled with Laker fans than locals, the Hawks turned in an uninspired and downright boring performance against the world champions losing 101-87. If the Hawks can’t get up for a game against Kobe Bryant, Ron Artest and friends, we should expect no less than a first-round exit once playoff time comes.
