The High Museum of Art is offering Atlantans a fantastic holiday gift. The museum has free admission today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The museum is always worth a visit, but if you haven’t been lately, there are some fantastic temporary exhibitions you’ll definitely want to catch before they leave town right after the holidays. There’s Janet Cardiff’s curious installation Forty Part Motet through Jan. 18, the absolutely unmissable (it will be crowded no matter when you go, deal) Cézanne and the Modern, and Luca Della Robia’s Cantoria which both run through Jan. 11. Staying with us past the holidays, but also well worth a visit is Segregation Story, an exhibition of Life magazine staff photographer Gordon Parks’ photos from a 1956 visit to segregated Alabama, which is on view through June 7.
