  • No, that’s not Bon Jovi doing the Dirty Bird.

>>Falcons owner Arthur Blank wants a new football stadium. It seems he’ll be going through New Jersey to get one. ESPN is reporting that Falcons officials are holding “confidential negotiations” with Jon Bon Jovi to buy 15 percent of the franchise. The move would allow an infusion of cash to help Blank’s bid for a new football home. The only downside is the stadium — funded with Bon Jovi money — would be made entirely of PBR cans and have a retractable mullet roof. (ESPN)

>> The Packers won the Super Bowl, meaning Atlanta has now been the expressway to glory for both the MLB (Giants) and NFL champions. That probably doesn’t make any of you feel any better. But, hey, at least you don’t feel like the guys who made the Groupon commercial. (NY Daily News)

>>Deion Sanders was named to the NFL Hall of Fame this weekend. Should we feel proud that “Primetime” got his start as a Falcon and Brave? Probably not. Buckhead doesn’t seem to be too proud that Brett Favre got his start there. (Fanhouse)

>>Georgia lost yet another mascot on Friday. Uga VIII died from lymphoma at the age of 16 (months). He leaves behind a chew toy, six illegitimate pups and the freshly humped leg of Bulldogs kicker Blair Walsh. (AJC)

>>Atlanta Hawks coach Larry Drew’s son is in the news for all the wrong reasons. Someone got upset about a lack of playing time at UNC and decided to bounce. No word yet if he’ll be a starter on the Hawks ball boys corps next season. (SI.com)
