Another year, another stripper competition. The finals of the 2012 Exotic Dance National Championships took place at the Pink Pony on Saturday night. There were six competitors in the finals, three in the “newcomers” division, and three in the “masters” division. They each performed eight- to 12-minute routines that were all loosely based on themes like time travel or Native Americans or high school prom. Lacey Rain won the “newcomers” division with enthusiasm and extreme flexibility, while Christina Aguchi won the “masters” division for the third year in a row, busting out an intricate Michael Jackson puppet costume and ending with whipping her hair around in a pool of water.
