For several weeks, WeCycle Atlanta, a nonprofit bicycle co-op that helps children repair and “earn” two-wheelers, has been building its West End shop. Early on Dec. 24, someone broke into the location and took “computers, office equipment, merchandise, tools, and a big screen TV used for workshops and presentations.” They’re asking for donations to help rebuild and continue their community work here.

A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention technician might have been exposed to Ebola after transporting the virus to a lab. CDC officials say there is no risk to the public and the worker is being monitored.

Hackers have claimed responsibility for crippling Xbox and Sony’s online gaming platforms on Christmas.

Former President George H.W. Bush spent Christmas in the hospital after reporting shortness of breath. The 41st president’s spokesman said Bush was in “great spirits.”
