Last night, President Barack Obama gave his State of the Union address. He discussed a number of key issues facing the country, including the pre-K program he’ll promote during his Decatur visit tomorrow. Ultimately, however, he may have been trumped by Florida Sen. Marco Rubio’s incredibly awkward glorious water break during the middle of his “Republican Response.”

Mayor Kasim Reed continues to explain his views regarding gay marriage. He recently stated in an Public Affairs on Peach interview that “there are rights that come with having a relationship recognized under the law as a marriage, that are different from civil unions...I ended up believing I was wrong.”

Embattled DeKalb CEO Burrell Ellis and his team of lawyers fight back as they seek access to a grand jury report.

Atlantic Cities posted an article highlighting neighborhoods in different cities with the most single men and women. Based on zip codes, they found that Home Park (30363) is the best spot for single ladies in Atlanta while Dunwoody (30346) is where bachelors should lurk. Take that with a grain a salt?

And last but certainly not least, Pecanne Log has compiled a wonderful post that lists many of MARTA’s film cameos.
