MARTA Police have made a second arrest in the May 20 attack on two transgender women riding a train. Frederick L. Missick and Luther L. Thomas were both charged with disorderly conduct in the incident and were last reported to be in Fulton County Jail.

Bill Bolling, the founder and longtime leader of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, is “shifting roles” at the nonprofit to focus on more community work. The move, veteran business columnist Maria Saporta reports, was two years in the making, enabling the organization to prepare plans for Bolling’s successor.

The toddler who was severely burned after Habersham County cops serving a no-knock warrant tossed a flash-bang device in his crib is preparing for additional surgeries. The 19-month-old boy is currently in an induced coma and has lost the use of one lung. “We just ask everybody to pray for our child. He’s not doing to sic good,” the child’s father told WSB.

Surprise! Documents leaked by Edward Snowden show the National Security Agency was collecting photos of ne’er-do-well’s faces from the messages it intercepts.
