For this years Summer Guide, CLs writers, critics and editors hit the road to dish on eight of their favorite destinations throughout the Southeast. We found a foodies paradise just five hours away in Charleston. Per square inch, Charleston has the best eating in the Southeast – a collection of fantastic restaurants in a small radius that make for a great night of progressive eating. We also take a day trip in search of wine country in Dahlonega and hit up the infamous Southern buffet at one of Georgia's roadside attractions, the Blue Willow Inn. Happy summer!
