Castleberry Hill will soon be to home to Match Restaurant (199 Walker St.), which will open in the former Drink Art space, according to What Now Atlanta. James Hammelburg, a Boston native and the restaurateur behind Boston eateries Joe V’s and Jimmy’s Bar & Oven, will own and operate Match.
Chef Michael Rome Noe, formerly of sushi resto Tomo, is returning from Los Angeles to open BoruBoru Sushi Burrito + Bowl in the Emory Point mixed-use development by mid-to-late summer, according to What Now Atlanta. The Japanese-inspired fast casual eatery will serve sushi burritos and bowls along with poke bowls. Proteins will include hanger steak, boruboru chicken, and pork belly. Noe says BoruBoru will have a zero-tipping policy.
Tickets to Ford Fry’s eighth annual Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival will go on sale Fri., April 15. This year, the Georgia Organics fundraiser will be held at Park Tavern on Sun., July 17 from 1-5 p.m.
Krog Dogs (10 Krog St.), “a classic hot dog stand serving the most delicious dogs,” is slated to open on Sat., May 7 near the Krog Street tunnel, according to Tomorrow’s News Today.
North Carolina-based burger and sushi concept Cowfish will open its first Atlanta resto, The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar, in April at the former Goldfish space in Perimeter Mall.
Starbucks will open its premium Starbucks Reserve concept inside the Seventh Midtown Condominiums (867 Peachtree St.). The company left the location two years ago to make way for the condo project. Starbucks Reserve drinks will be made from rare, “limited-availability small lot coffees.”
