King of Pops Free Yoga in the Park

As modern life becomes more sedentary, taking the time to incorporate exercise into your daily routine has become increasingly important. Every Tuesday (weather-permitting) guests are invited to join hundreds of yoga-loving individuals in the field next to Old Fourth Ward Skate Park from 7-8 p.m. for King of Pops Free Yoga in the Park. Get your inner peace on through this hour of guided breathing, stretching, and strengthening exercises led by instructor Rachelle Knowles.

Inspired by Painter and Poet: the Wonderful World of Ashley Bryan, the High Museum of Art is collecting donations of new and gently loved children’s books (for ages newborn through 8 years) for the month of December. All books will be donated to our partners at metro-area Sheltering Arms Centers.
