Club Silencio: Music from the films of David Lynch

The Earl - 488 Flat Shoals Ave. S.E. Atlanta, GA 30316 $12. 9 p.m.

With “Twin Peaks” returning to the small screen in May, fans are primed to re-immerse themselves in the macabre, bizarre world of David Lynch. Club Silencio is the perfect aural accompaniment. The brainchild of Atlanta musicians Jeffrey B?_tzer and T.T. Mahony, Club Silencio is an evening celebrating the music of Lynch films. From the jazzy churn of Angelo Badalamenti’s scores to the symphonic dream-pop of Julee Cruise, the music of a Lynch film is as memorable as any of his peculiar, perverted characters. Local musicians Matt Steadman, Ben Davis, Sean Zearfoss, along with B?_tzer and Mahony, will perform the iconic tunes as the Ladies in the Radiator. B?_tzer’s group, the Compartmentalizationalists, open with its brand of Morricone-influenced instrumentals. Get jacked on some damn fine coffee and head to the Earl for a stellar night of music.
