Illegal Drugs, NAARC, Multicult, Vincas

529 - 529 Flat Shoals Ave. S.E. Atlanta, GA 30316 $8. 9 p.m.

Post-punk and garage rock trio Illegal Drugs released its self-titled debut album in October 2016, a solid offering filled with hard rock, grunge and goth-laced hooks and pop-rock songwriting brilliance. The album is driven by upbeat, breakneck sing-along tracks such as “Just Like You” and “Not the One,” juxtaposed with sultry and destructive ruminations in “On Fire” and “When It Falls.” Joining the group in the lineup is noisy industrial “synth-punk” trio NAARC, who, in January, released a double cassette debut, titled LOAM. The bill stacks on more noise with Multicult from Baltimore and Vincas of Athens, Georgia.
