All proceeds from pint purchases benefit LifeLine Animal Project, an Atlanta non-profit working to end the euthanasia of healthy and treatable dogs and cats in metro Atlanta shelters. Details

Georgia Railroad Freight Depot July 12, 2017, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sysco Atlanta’s Summer 2017 Catering Show This event features local and specialty catering suppliers gathering to discuss new ideas, trends and solutions for catering vendors and event planners. South City Kitchen - Vinings July 12, 2017, 5 p.m. to July 22, 2017, 10:30 p.m. Tomato Jam at South City Kitchen Vinings The new annual TomatoJam menu includes a variety of tomato-based appetizers and dishes from executive chef Nathan McGrath. Appetizers include tomato bisque, Heirloom tomatoes, cured salmon, seared scallops, tomato pie and more. Entrees include seafood stew, chuck eye steak, pan seared cobia, rolled beet dumplings and pan seared duck breast, all with tomato-based dressings and sides. Details

La Tavola Trattoria July 12, 2017, 5 p.m. to July 22, 2017, 10:30 p.m. Tomato Feast at La Tavola Trattoria Executive chef Brian Moll has prepared tomato-centric dishes for a special Tomato Fest menu. The Shops at Buckhead July 14, 2017, 4 p.m. Waiter’s Race ATL For the first time, the Industry Fund is hosting their version of this century-old French race. Representatives from Atlanta’s food service walk with a server’s tray in one hand that will include a glass of water, a glass of wine and a split of champagne. Race registration is $25. The public is encouraged to watch the race and attend a free afterparty hosted by Le Bilboquet. Event proceeds will benefit The Giving Kitchen. Details

The 9th annual benefit festival offers samples from Atlanta chef Ford Fry and more than 75 other chefs and mixologists, all made from locally-grown organic tomatoes.
