The Black Crowes co-founder shows off earthy jams from this summer's highly-regarded 'Barefoot in the Head'

The Black Crowes packed it in at the beginning of 2015, when the brothers Chris and Rich Robinson failed to reach an agreement over business issues. But Chris Robinson Brotherhood, which also includes longtime Crowes keyboardist Adam MacDougall, picked up where his old band left off, bending the sound in a more loose-limbed and jammy Grateful Dead-styled direction. The CRB has endured a few personnel changes since its 2012 start, but the group has remained quite prolific, releasing six studio albums including this summer's highly-regarded Barefoot in the Head, along with three live sets.
