SEE and DO: Simulacra

The cerebral and suspense-filled drama takes the stage Oct. 6-29

The art showcase U*Space is returning to Atlanta this fall, presenting the play Simulacra. According to the production team behind it, Simulacra which is directed by Terence E.Jacksonartistically explores themes of family, power and intergenerational trauma juxtaposed amongst legacy, inheritance, entitlement; how our perception ultimately shapes our perspectives and interactions with those we love.” That’s a mouthful, but we’re expecting a cerebral and suspenseful trip on stage. And you’ll have a chance to witness it for yourself Oct. 6-29 at the Star Theatre in Historic West End Atlanta. $15-$25. Performances are Friday sand Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 1:30 p.m. Star Theatre, 840 Ralph David Abernathy. 404-825-2586. http://uspacegallery.com/frwien.html.
