Cirque du Soleil takes Atl on an imaginary journey through Mexico, where "light quenches the spirit and rain soothes the soul."

Cirque du Soleil or “circus of the sun” is a Canadian-based entertainment company and the largest theatrical producer in the world. Cirque du Soleil - Luzia takes audience members on an imaginary adventure through Mexico, where “light quenches the spirit and rain soothes the soul.” Performers present surreal visual surprises and acrobatic performances that bring to life the places, faces and sound that make up the richness of Mexican culture. Proceed with caution, as the Unveil of Frankenstein’s Creation is sure to leave many in fear. Frankenstein, the original novel by Mary Shelley, tells the story of a young scientist who creates a monstrous but sapient creature. “Sid the Science Kid,” originally aired on PBS Kids TV, comes to life at Sid the Science Kid: The Super-Deluxe Exhibition. See (and hear) abstract art through a new perception with the final event of the Atlanterium AV Festival, a festival dedicated to providing a unique experience for audiovisual artists through nontraditional workspaces. Open Mic Night: A Night To Heal - Community Canvas presents a safe space to share feelings through spoken word/slam poetry, writing, song and dance.
