After ripping through Houston, Texas and surrounding areas, Hurricane Harvey has left a trail of devastation in its wake, killing at least 38 people and leaving tens of thousands homeless and in dire need of support. While we advise everyone to give generously and directly to reputable disaster relief funds like the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, The Greater Houston Community Foundation, United Way of Greater Houston and other local organizations, restaurants all over metro Atlanta are also pitching in by donating portions of their proceeds to the efforts. Here are a few local spots where your dining dollars can help. If you know of any more, shout them out in the comments section below!

- Oakhurst's Double Dragon will donate 100 percent of all soup sales to nonprofit Feeding Texas from now through Sun., Sept. 10. "Soup is healing and nourishing and I feel that's what the folks in Texas need most right now, just the comforts of being warm, dry and fed," says co-owner Michael Lo. Feeding Texas is a statewide nonprofit that works alongside state and federal relief efforts. All soup sales, whether dine-in or take-out, qualify for donation. Double Dragon's goal is to sell 1,000 bowls of soup in a week and a half.

- This Sat., Sept 2, ASW Distillery will team up with Terminus City BBQ to host "Cocktails for a Cause." Here, they'll unveil their new cocktail program under the new Georgia laws, including Old Fashioneds, Mules and Sazeracs made with Atlanta's 1821 Bitters products, plus donate 25 percent of all Saturday proceeds to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

- From Fri., Sept 1 through Mon., Sept. 4, both of Jennifer and Tony Tiberia's restaurants, Sprig in Decatur and 1910 Public House in Lilburn, will be donating 50 percent of all food and drink proceeds to a number of organizations assisting with Hurricane Harvey relief efforts including Best Friends, San Antonio Humane Society and Houston Food Bank.

- At the BBQ for Texas event on Weds., Sept. 6, Sweet Auburn BBQ in Poncey-Highland, Community Q in Decatur and DBA BBQ in Virginia-Highland will donate at least 10 percent of their sales to crowdfunding site GlobalGiving, which is attempting to raise $2 million exclusively for Hurricane Harvey relief and recovery efforts.

- Lucky's Burger & Brew in Roswell is donating half of all proceeds all day Thurs., Sept. 7, beginning at 11:30 a.m. to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. They have a nice dog-friendly patio, so bring your pooch.

- Celebrate SB 85 while giving back. $1 from every pint sold at SweetWater Brewing Co.'s new beer law kickoff weekend this Sat., Sept. 2 goes to Harvey relief efforts (and there will be A LOT of pints sold to coincide with Sept. 1 new beers laws). No admission, free tours, food trucks, sports on new TVs in the taproom, and live music from Packway Handle Band. Huzzah!

- Grindhouse Killer Burgers (Piedmont location only) is donating 10 percent of all sales this Sat., Sept 2 and Sun., Sept 3 to the American Red Cross in support of victims of Hurricane Harvey.

- This Taco Tuesday, all locations of Red Pepper Taqueria are raising funds for the Houston Food Bank in support of Hurricane Harvey victims. During "Tacos for Texas" on Tues., Sept. 5, 50 percent of sales will be donated to relief efforts.

- From opening until 10 p.m. on Sun., Sept 10, 10 percent of sales from all Dunwoody Restaurant Group restaurants including Ye Olde Dunwoody Tavern, O'Brian's Tavern, King George Tavern, the Royal Oak Pub, the Ship & Anchor Pub, the Iron Horse Tavern and the Bat & Ball Pub will go to the American Red Cross.
