Doraville elects transgender politico
She’s the second transgender person ever elected to Georgia public officeFriday November 10, 2017 03:34 pm EST
Doraville voters recently elected Koontz to a city council post, making her the only transgender elected official in Georgia. She wants to build affordable housing initiatives, improve zoning codes, and offer better educational opportunities to her community’s kids.
