First Slice: Atlanta decriminalizes weed

That’s weed-erful: The vote to decriminalize marijuana in Atlanta passed unanimously yesterday anyone caught with less than an ounce will receive a $75 fine and no jail time.

Plus: City Council also voted unanimously to direct funds from the $51 million Homeless Opportunity Project to help homeless LGBTQ teens.

I guess we were all going to die anyway, but damn: If you get your health insurance through the exchange, you’re probably going to be paying more next year. Carriers in Georgia have upped prices, worried that the federal government won’t pay out important subsidies that help with our out-of-pocket costs.
