Sounds of resistance

Tonight, Mammal Gallery’s Anti-Inaugural Ball will host an eclectic array of Atlanta-based artists and musicians

No value assignedWell, the orange-skinned, dry-lipped, tiny-handed, toupee-wearing demagogue is officially being sworn into office today. Let the resistance commence. Tonight Mammal Gallery will host the Anti-Inaugural Ball, curated by improv ensemble In Sonitus Lux and featuring an eclectic array of Atlanta-based acts including ambient prog funk trio Zentropy, wild unscripted duo Duet for Theremin and Lap Steel, and experimental fusion rocker George Trotter. Visual projections and performance art by Kris Pilcher and Catherine Rush are also on the list, and proceeds will benefit the ACLU.

“Some say wait and see. I already see quite clearly so I am not waiting,” says Serson Brannen, hang player and frontman for In Sonitus Lux. “It’s called clear and present danger.”
