Sips Under the Sea: St. Patrick’s Day

The luck of the Irish favors green on this holiday, so wear emerald garb as you eat, drink and admire festive green animals like the green sea turtle, greenside darter and kelp greenling. All aquarium galleries are open to guests in addition to live entertainment, signature cocktails and tapas brought to you by Wolfgang Puck Catering. Official St. Paddy’s Day Pubcrawl

The gold at the end of the rainbow is really just a cocktail at your favorite bar in Atlanta. Prepare to honor Irish traditions in Midtown where local bars are pumping up the festivities with music, entertainment and great weather. (Well, let’s not get our hopes up. This is Atlanta.) Luckyfest 2017

Spiral Entertainment returns for Luckyfest XL, a three-part St. Patty’s Day extravaganza. Stretch those drinking muscles for part one: Lucky Night, where patrons can kick off the luck with a night party full of music, cold drinks and fun. Repair those organs and prepare for the real festival with part two, Lucky Brunch, which consists of a green bunch with green eggs and kegs. Part three, Luckyfest, is the main event filled to the brim with live bands, entertainment and tons of green beer. $10-$44. Nonsense EAV: St. Pats Indie Pop Dance Party

DJ Kimber spins it on the ones and twos with hits from MGMT, CHVRCHES, Grouplove and tons more indie artists. Event festivities include DIY face painting and tattoo bar, free green stuff, a leprechaun photobooth, riverdance and who knows what else. In addition to the party, the Basement will have Tullamore D.E.W Irish whiskey specials all night. So drink it up, meet new friends and always drink responsibly. Raising of the Green

ART Station celebrates St. Pat’s with its 21st annual festival and fundraiser in the Historic Stone Mountain Village. The “Raising of the Green” fundraiser features silent and live auctions with items donated to ART Station by local theater companies, restaurants and businesses. When the hunger pains strike, “A Taste of Stone Mountain” introduces event-goers to restaurants and caterers in the area. St. Patty’s Cupcake Icing Class

Park Realty and the Sugarbakers demonstrate how to masterfully decorate St. Patrick’s Day-themed cupcakes that can impress at school, the office or at home. Using Wilton piping techniques, patrons have the opportunity to gain artful cupcake decorating skills by bedecking two cupcakes in class. Add these new techniques to your repertoire for future delicious treats and walk away with a half-dozen cupcakes after class. Second Self St. Patrick’s Day of Celebration

Second Self Beer Company invites green aficionados to its new taproom for St. Patty’s Day. Lucky leprechauns can enjoy food from Poor Huey’s Hot Dog Company and wash it down with specialty beers on tap. Boozy Brunch – A Lucky Brunch Crawl

Crawl through the Highlands during the Boozy Brunch for small bites and drink specials. The booze trail features bars like Hand in Hand Pub, Dark Horse Tavern, J&J Bourbon Bar & Grill, Neighbor’s Pub Virginia-Highland and Diesel Filling Station.
