Hailing from the budding hip-hop scene in Grand Rapids, Mich. Waldo is part of a new generation of rappers providing fresh and compelling takes on the genre. Spending the last several years cutting his teeth on a handful of early releases, including collaborations with fellow AGO Music artists Sango and the SEVENth, Waldo’s sights are now set on sharing his refined aesthetic and verbal prowess with the masses. His latest project, Be Ever Wonderful is a maturation of his established sound, combining old-school and ambient samples alongside hard-hitting, modern beats. Playing off these intricate musical backdrops, Waldobs introspective rhymes flow with an energy both diabolical and debonair.
