Java Cats Café is celebrating its one-year anniversary and more than 200 cat adoptions with a cat-themed film festival at Orpheus Brewing. Featured films include “Cat-tastic” short narrative films involving cats or cat-centric themes, as well as “You’ve Got to be Kitten Me” cat home videos. Winners in each category get cash prizes and cat-themed art, decided by a panel of judges and the audience. The festival also features local art, a food truck, and a kitten room. Orpheus Brewing will be pouring all day, and VIP tickets include one drink ticket with a souvenir pint glass.
