Sir Ian Murray McKellen has played many parts and reached new heights as an actor in films such as The Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit, X-Men, Gods and Monsters, Richard III, and more. Guests are invited to explore the English actor’s life the with a special screening of McKellen: Playing the Part at Landmark’s Midtown Art Cinema. Directed by Joe Stephenson, McKellen’s story is told in an intimate fashion with never before seen material pieced together around a 14 hour interview. The exclusive event is one night only, so c’mon. I mean, anyone who plays Gandalf that well has got to be pretty badass.
