ZOMBREWLAND: The Zombie Pub Crawl brings the boo’s and booze.

Forget peaches — fans of “The Walking Dead” know that zombies are Atlanta’s most popular export.  If you want to celebrate Georgia’s favorite monster and drink a lot of booze, shamble on down to the 9th annual Atlanta Zombie Pub Crawl. The crawl is hosted at Diesel Filling Station and continues to Limerick Junction, Dark Horse Tavern, Neighbor’s Pub, and Hand In Hand, each with their own zombie-themed shots and drinks. Access to the pub crawl itself is pretty cheap, but for more money, you can get properly ghouled-up by professional zombie makeup artists, including blood spatter, prosthetic wounds, and spooky contact lenses. Real diehard fans of the genre can make it a zombie weekend by attending Fox Theatre’s 50th-anniversary screening of George A. Romero’s cult classic, Night of the Living Dead, the night before.

$10-$70. 6:30-10 p.m. Sat., July 28. Diesel Filling Station, 870 North Highland Ave. N.E. 404-815-1820. http://atlantazombiecrawl.blogspot.com/.
