FRIENDLY DRINKS: 8Arm's intimate new cocktail program begins soon

Cool news from 8Arm. The café is currently being transformed into cocktail bar INK. Think kansume bars in Japan, serving canned food, black color tone, concrete, steel, and an intimate setting capped at 20 people. There will be tea service, omakase cocktail flights, and no drink menu. Cocktails will be made to order, individually customized. We almost don’t want to tell you, so we can take in the chill vibe ourselves.

The 5th Annual Ramen Fest was held this past weekend, benefitting Giving Kitchen. You can try the winning bowl because Steinbeck’s is adding it to the menu. Slurp Andy Gonzalez’s pork and chicken broth with crispy pork belly, leeks, and ginger scallion topping at the Oakhurst haunt.

It’s lit… well, re-lit. The historic Buckhead sign for Henri’s Bakery and Café (56 E.Andrews Drive) lights the way to edible delights once again.

It’s that time of year again, when Ecco serves its Sirens of the Sea menue. The oceanic celebration runs from Oct. 24 to Nov. 6 with teasers like wood fired spiny lobster and loup de mer en Croûte.
