Ponce City Market’s second floor keeps growing stronger. Citizen Supply, the 12,000 square foot market place full of handmade items and local goods, is adding a small restaurant to perfect your shopping experience. Worthy of a destination itself Likewise will serve light bites and craft cocktails created by Beverage Director Ben Richardson (Staplehouse). Chef Jason Jimenez (Kitchen Six) is behind the eatery’s first food menu. 

The Final Table, Netflix’s new culinary competition where chefs vie to impress prestigious judges like Grant Achatz, includes a local. Watch Chef Ronald Hsu cook on an over the top stadium kitchen. Hsu’s restaurant Lazy Betty is slated to open in Candler Park next year. 

New local goods to think of on Small Business Saturday or Cyber Monday: Decatur’s White Bull (123 E. Court Square) is now selling bags of their house-milled pasta in various shapes. Stop in to purchase the $10 bags, which weigh in at just over a pound.
Krog Street Market’s Xocolatl Small Batch Chocolate (99 Krog St.) has peppermint bark gift boxes perfect for holiday gifts. Sales begin Monday, in store or online. 

Half off prices will make you feel like it’s the 90’s. Grab a friend, throw on some flannel, and head to gusto! (782 Ponce de Leon Ave.).  On Flannel Fridays (11 a.m.-10 p.m.) there’s an all-day buy one get one free menu of comforting flatbreads, plentiful bowls, and wraps. 

Sandy Springs’ Shami Kitchen is permanently closed. The Roswell Rd. Mediterranean spot opened in spring last year.

Buckhead’s new Ecco is now open for lunch everyday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Perfect for pre or post Phipps Plaza shopping, the menu includes roasted chicken panzanella, cuttlefish flatbread, and roasted lamb Agnolotti. 

Put a smile on a child’s face and one on your own. At all locations of Holler and Dash you can donate a new, unwrapped toy and receive a complimentary tater tot bowl—that’s the one smothered with bacon, cheddar, green onion, and their famous Hollerback sauce. The offer runs from now through Dec., 24.

Chef Kevin Gillespie’s (Gunshow, Revival) Beardsmas is back for a fourth year. The chef-inspired shopping experience includes foodie gifts and one of a kind bargains at redbeardmerch.com. There are Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals too.

Another rink is opening for eating, sipping and ice-skating this season. The Rink at Park Tavern’s (500 10th St. NE) Fire and Ice Season opens this weekend until Mon., Jan. 21. Expect a “neo-Victorian feel” around the 40-foot wide rink. The rink aims to transport you to 1905 and welcomes all ages.

Ford Fry’s Westside Marcel is opening for lunch soon. The upscale steakhouse, which usually only serves burgers on the late-night menu, is adding them to their Le Lunch Menu along with pommes frites and boozy shakes. Lunch begins on Dec., 3, Mon.-Fri. from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
