WSB’s Mike Petchenik got some response from a reluctant Uber to resolve an Atlanta transgender driver’s suspension.

Local Atlanta Uber driver was suspended from the service during the pandemic after Uber received complaints about the driver’s gender.
Excerpt from the WSB story: “What made it valid to deactivate me?” Ruth can be heard asking the rep. “So many riders were complaining about the situation about your gender,” the rep can be heard telling Ruth.
After being contacted by WSB, Uber restored the driver to her previous status and apologized.
