Ozzie, the oldest western lowland gorilla in captivity, is ill with COVID-19. Zoo Atlanta says Ozzie, 60, and at least a dozen other great apes have tested positive for the virus. Officials at the zoo say a vaccinated employee who always wears protective gear likely infected the animals. They added that visitors cannot be infected by them. The virus caught up with eight gorillas at the San Diego Zoo in January but all recovered after treatment. apnews.com
