There is a bit of head-scratching going on regarding the rebranding of the Piedmont Road area near the Lindbergh MARTA station. With the neighborhood once known for Broadview Plaza, the shopping center was demolished and renamed Lindbergh Plaza when the likes of Best Buy, Home Depot, and Target were added to the site. Now, a press release announcing a “Laughs on the Lawn” event on Sept. 30 calls it “Uptown Atlanta” (wasn’t that supposed to be the domain of Lenox/Phipps?) and says its former label was the unfamiliar moniker “Lindbergh City Center.” eventbrite.com
