Members of unionized film crews, thousands of whom work in Georgia, will stay on the job after a tentative deal was reached on Saturday that averted a strike. The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE), which represents about 60,000 camera operators, hair and make-up artists, prop masters, costumers, sound technicians, and set builders said negotiators hammered out a new three-year contract after threatening to strike starting Monday if talks with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) had failed.
