The YMCA and the Empty Stocking Fund are partnering to bring a bit of holiday cheer to 30,000 disadvantaged children this season. Families are encouraged to register by Dec. 12 in order to receive presents. YMCA locations throughout the Atlanta area will become distribution points, and the project is looking for volunteers. times-herald.com
