An immersive video game concept is setting up shop in Atlanta this fall, a June 28 press release announced. Brooklyn-based Beat The Bomb will open a location at 1483 Chattahoochee Avenue featuring glass-walled Bomb Rooms, a beer garden and The Bomb Bar, a full service bar with signature cocktails and slushies, along with “a light food offering.”

The facility will also have multiple Game Bays, described as 150-square-foot, 3-walled game areas with dedicated seating, allowing players to choose from 20 hyper-social two to five minute games developed by an in-house studio, the release stated.

“Beat The Bomb is real-world immersive video gaming,” said founder Alex Patterson. “Most video games isolate a person with their gaming device. We have used technology to build human connection via hi-tech game rooms, proprietary multiplayer games, and special effects.” Details: prnewswire.com
