For the second year in a row, the Hope Hill Elementary Foundation is lacing up its sneakers and taking off through the Old Fourth Ward Historic District with the goal of raising funds for the children of Hope Hill Elementary. According to the Hope Hill Elementary Foundation, over 90% of the school’s children qualify for free or reduced lunches, while over 10% are homeless. The Foundation works to provide resources to the Hope-Hill community through after-school programs, teacher allotments, teacher grants and technology. The course will begin on North Avenue across from Ponce City Market.
