Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre Company presents an open dialogue on the effects of race on both the internal operations of the police force as well as the external racial perceptions of police officers. A panel discussion will discuss the roots of the issue, community perceptions, and methods of breaking down barriers, and will be followed by an audience Q&A. The panel will include Atlanta Chief of Police Erika Shields, Co-founder and CEO of Movement Forward Reverend Markel Hutchins, and founder and CEO of Goodie Nation Joey Womack, moderated by CNN journalist David A. Love.
