Theatrical Outfit continues its twice-monthly series with guest speaker Bishop Jim Swilley, pastor of Church in the Now in Conyers. In conjunction with our current stage production of The Young Man From Atlanta, which explores such complex issues as suicide, sexual orientation and gender identity, Bishop Swilley will discuss his decision to openly declare his homosexuality in response to the increased occurrence of teen suicides by young people struggling with their own sexuality and bullying.
