Intro to Rug Hooking for Youth Ages 10 & Up

Children and teens will love to try rug hooking! This hands-on fun class gives all the basics needed to enter the world of traditional rug hooking. This class includes rug hook and hoop rental with the option to purchase these materials at the end of class. All classes are taught by the Association of Traditional Hooking Artists. This class is offered in conjunction with “Off the Hook,” an exhibition of 200 antique and contemporary hook rugs organized by the Atlanta Dogwood Association of Hooking Artists in partnership with the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center.
